We are searching for someone for whom learning is not just personal. Someone who is excited about learning for their own professional development, for the support and advancement of their own organization, and for the potential to inspire the greater association community.
We are delighted to be able to give away one individual registration to Learning • Technology • Design 2018, a virtual conference hosted by Tagoras throughout the month of February. The winner of this free registration – the usual price of which is 395.00 USD – will have the opportunity to write an article detailing the key takeaways from their experience, so that the lessons learned can resonate throughout the wider association community. The recipient will therefore be someone who is able to enthuse, explain, and inspire through writing, acting both as an attendee and a reporter during their time at the conference. It’s an incredible chance to glean insights from others around you, and to share them with our large network of association professionals.
What is the event?
Learning • Technology • Design 2018 (LTD, for short) has been created specifically for individuals and organizations that market and sell lifelong learning, and the goal of the event is to help attendees find new and better ways to engage learners and create lasting impact through the effective use of technology.
LTD 2018 has been designed as an extended virtual conference, meaning that the education and consolidation opportunities will be spread throughout the whole month. The goal is to provide digestible content, while allowing appropriate time for review, reflection, discussion, and application of the approaches covered in sessions.
You can find out exactly what attendance entails here, but among other things, registrants will have access to:
- Eight online workshops (two on each of the Thursdays in February)
- Shorter Content Pods on the first three Tuesdays in February
- Priming and Synthesis sessions on Thursdays to help bring everything together
- Follow-Up Fridays (question and answer sessions)
- An online community to enable participants to connect with peers for informal learning opportunities throughout the event.
The insights and skills gleaned from this event will be extraordinary. And that is where the competitive aspect of the giveaway comes in:
What do you have to do?
To be in with a chance of winning a place at the conference, and putting together an article for AssociationSuccess.org, we request that you submit us a statement of approximately 500 words.
This should describe the kind of learning opportunities you are eager to implement at your association, and explain how attending LTD 2018 would help you to do so. Please send your submission here with the subject line “RE: Competition Submission”. The deadline for entries is midnight on Friday, January 26th.
Best of luck: we eagerly anticipate your submissions!
